All of my client website designs go through a strict 7-step design process. My first step is the client brand discovery. The second step is a client competitor analysis. The third step is my design strategy. The fourth step is to design creative concepts. The fifth step is building and testing of the clients website. The sixth step is the launch and celebration of the clients new website. The seventh step is management and website growth. Learn the specifics about each step, here.
Since all websites are different in complexity and size, this is a difficult question to answer. However, speaking as an independent designer, I usually request 2-4 weeks to complete step 1 to step 6 for an average sized website. If a client is sensitive for time, I have premade websites and templates that can be quickly and easily customized for an immediate transfer.
I'm a digital nomad of web design in Toronto, Canada; home to brilliant website developers and some of the world's best graphic designers in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Unlike others with a web development company based in Toronto, Canada, I travel for many reasons and my digital design business comes along with me, visiting top website designers from all over.
I am highly concentrated on website designs for e-commerce and websites for digital creators like YouTubers, podcasters, e-journalists or bloggers, photographers, and more. Designing websites for small businesses and business owners in general is my focus. My clients come from an eclectic collection of industries including outdoor and recreation, hospitality, food and beverage, natural health and beauty, entertainment and events, construction, even more!
Mock-ups are designed in step 4 of my design process. These mock-ups will be revised, continuously if need be, until the final design is everything my client and I imagined. I continue on with my design process at this point.
